SUNBEAM WOODEN PALLETS
Types of wood used for Pallets
Imported Pinewood Pallets
Sunbeam Holdings sources imported pinewood from internationally recognized suppliers for pallets that exhibit exceptional strength and durability. This premium wood is specifically chosen for its ability to withstand heavy loads and the rigors of long-distance transportation, making it a reliable choice for demanding shipping requirements.
Local Pinewood Palletes
Local pinewood, harvested from domestic plantations, forms the foundation for Sunbeam Holdings’ cost-effective pallet solutions. This wood offers reliable structural integrity, ensuring that goods are securely supported during transit. By utilizing local pinewood, the company actively contributes to sustainable forestry practices and supports the local economy.
Rubber Wood Pallets
Rubber wood, a unique and sustainable material derived from rubber trees at the end of their latex production cycle, distinguishes Sunbeam Holdings’ specialized pallets.

Types of pallets we provide
Pallets are vital components in modern logistics, essential for efficient handling, storage, and transportation of goods. With advancements in technology and evolving industry needs, various types of pallets have been developed, each designed for specific applications. Additionally, new materials and design approaches have enhanced pallet functionality, durability, and sustainability. Here is an overview of the different types of pallets used today and the technologies and approaches in their design and construction.
Stringer Pallets
Stringer pallets use a frame of three or more parallel pieces of timber (called stringers). The top deckboards are then affixed to the stringers to create the pallet structure. They are versatile and commonly used for a variety of loads.
Block Pallets
Block pallets are stronger and more durable than stringer pallets. They are constructed with both parallel and perpendicular stringers, forming a grid-like structure that provides excellent support. These pallets are typically used for heavy or bulky loads.
Double-Face Pallets
Double-face pallets have decks on both the top and bottom, which can either be reversible or non-reversible. These pallets provide additional support and stability for heavy loads and can be used with most types of handling equipment.
Solid Deck Pallets
Solid deck pallets feature a single, continuous top deckboard. They are ideal for transporting smaller items or goods that might otherwise fall through the gaps of a standard pallet. These pallets are easy to clean and are often used in industries requiring strict hygiene standards.
Recycled Pallets
Recycled pallets are made from previously used pallet components, offering an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution. They are refurbished to ensure they meet the necessary load-bearing requirements and are suitable for various logistics applications.
Two-Way Entry (Reversible):
This pallet type allows forklift entry from two opposite sides. It has deck boards on both the top and bottom, making it reversible.
Two-Way Entry (Close Boarded, No Base Board):
This pallet also allows forklift entry from two sides. It has closely spaced deck boards on the top but no bottom deck boards, providing a solid surface without a base.
Two-Way Entry (Wing Type):
This pallet has a wing-like overhang on the deck boards, which extends beyond the stringers. Forklift entry is possible from two opposite sides.
Four-Way Entry (Close Boarded 3 Base):
This pallet type allows forklift entry from all four sides. It has closely spaced deck boards on the top and three baseboards for added support.
Euro Pallet 1200x800:
A standardized pallet size used in Europe, measuring 1200 mm by 800 mm. It allows four-way entry and is commonly used for shipping and storage in Europe.
Four-Way Entry (Perimeter Base):
This pallet allows entry from all four sides and has a perimeter base which provides additional stability and strength.
Four-Way Entry (Wing Type):
Similar to the two-way wing type but allows entry from all four sides. The deck boards extend beyond the stringers, providing a wing-like overhang.
Four-Way Entry (Close Boarded Perimeter Base):
This pallet allows entry from all four sides and has closely spaced deck boards on the top with a perimeter base, offering a strong and stable design.
Four-Way Entry (Open Boarded, 3 Base):
This pallet type allows entry from all four sides and has an open-boarded top deck with three baseboards. This design provides good support while being lighter than fully boarded pallets.
Custom Pallets
Similar to the two-way wing type but allows entry from all four sides. The deck boards extend beyond the stringers, providing a wing-like overhang.
